Transcendence/bliss and God for Self Development

Going beyond language to experience an observation of what is around does not need any conceptual tools. This can happen by a flash or quirk of the mind. Afterward comes the challenge of expressing that experience in the language to share your experience. This seems to depend on how you interpret the experience using the language, though its not meant to be done!. Such experience going beyond language is a sign of arriving at a state of bliss, that is beyond the senses that are trapped in the meanings and senses of the world.

Transcendence leads to bliss, and freedom of the mind from the patterns of thinking based on concepts, and forms present in the memories of the past, or in the anticipations of the future.

Is transcendence to do with God?

Many philosophies equate the state of the mind in transcendence to God. That is the reason the idea of God as omnipresent is well based on this kind of experience of it. Also the the reason for the idea of the presence of the God in everyone's heart

Transcendence can get you closer to God, as your ego becomes pure in it.

In the experience of the transcendence, as the concepts becomes less relevant and the observer is stripped of them, the observer loses the dualities. It is not something that can be cultivated as a habit to be in the state. The role of the past experiences is minimal or the least.

God's thoughts can interfere in any state of the mind. But invoking God in with such state of the mind seems to be a practice in some meditation disciplines.

Because forms don't have a role in that state mind, we tend to claim God to be formless. We also confuse that state to be a state of self realization. Some consider the state to be ultimate. But it is no recommendation for in-action. Converting the thoughts into positive ones, and action oriented is important. Use transcendence to clean up old habits of fears, negativity, depressions, tensions, which are signs of the mind's bondage to the concepts and forms.

Transcendence is important to make mind free and clear. But, we also need to be focused. We also need a guidance. That is where getting into relationship with Him is one main tool.

We don't need to put an effort for transcendence. Between the gaps of our thoughts, there is transcendence. But we don't notice it. We are habituated to depend on the feelings and thoughts to let time flow to create ourselves to be somebody and something and to see others as somebody. There is some pattern of thoughts behind the perceptions. That pattern is your mask to see the world. Are you ready to clean up these patterns for allowing that innocence of pure ego?

A simple technique to experience transcendence is by visualizing yourself to be an infinitesimal point of energy. Also God to be one like that. Then coming to relation with Him. When that really happens, the cognitive process of your thoughts have totally different quality, and flow of the self. You can engage Him into a conversation, which can lead to insights that are new and helpful.

Confusions on Transcendence and God

Meditation disciplines explicitly or implicitly touch on a state of the mind, which is free from the symbols, and forms and their concepts. Such state of the mind has different interpretations which often came from the old stuff, ie your beliefs. These beliefs come from the philosophy that you subscribed about God or not.

Often, the challenge has been about not spiritualizing or Godifying such state of the mind. There have been many names given to it. Nirvana, God realization, Universal consciousness, non-dualistic God, etc could be the names for such state of the mind. I think, such pure state of the mind, where the conditioning or the programming of the mind has stopped, could be diluted to fit your beliefs. If you have come that far, please notice what beliefs are active to interpret the experience of it.

In my view, confusion is due to an attempt to verbalize an experience pertaining to that state of the mind, when it is not meant. Also the confusion is also due to the value that we create out of it for organizing belief systems.

Honesty may not imply truthfulness of who we are

Honesty is about facts related to the things that you can perceive or imagine. But behind these facts is an observer, a listener, or the experiencer who is usually a bodily being.

Truth about the experiencer is false, if his or her belief is that the self is a bodily being. When this belief is actualized, it works in our perceptions of ageing body, in the conflicts, tensions, fears, etc.

Though honesty is helpful to transparantly comunicate , it may not lead to experience the transcendental aspect of the self, which is real.

If transcendence of the self is not felt in between our experiences of facts, we are not truthful about the reality of the self, in spite of our honesty about the facts.

In other words, our truthfulness is in touching the transcendental aspects of the self from an experience to experience. If such truthfulness is missed, we only allow ourselves in the continuity of our past experiences into the future thoughts.

Today, we are struck in different conflicts. This is a sign of missing the truth about our true identity.

Honesty is a vehicle to the Truth

Honesty is an ability to watch your thoughts as they are without distortions or justifications.

Just being honest is not about being true as per the Truth. You can be truthful, in an ordinary sense of language. This means you are transparent, and represent your thoughts without distortions in-side and out-side out, in your communication.

Honesty helps us to the beliefs behind our perceptions. But we need courage to disassociate ourselves from the emotions associated with those beliefs.

Courage , detachment, and openness lead us to explore the ideas beyond our beliefs.

The Truth is also some such ideas. These are also facts which you can state in English. These need not be rational. These are actualized based on belief in them.

Our journey to the Truth is all about how far we travel in our honesty to recognize them, when these are waiting in disguise.

To appreciate God, realize that He is not religious

We have a great historical burden of religions, and other beliefs about God, which limit our understanding Him. To know Him, as He is a challenge. Also it is fun. TO know Him as it is, we need to empty the beliefs about Him from our consciousness.

We had corrupted the idea of ourselves as a bodily beings. Such corruption also led to the idea of God as a human form. Well some religions mixed the human form with animals too. We can always find rationalizations for such practices.

One approach to discover Him is by realizing and focusing ourselves as infinitesimal point energy beings. And also realizing and focusing on him as a infinitesimal point energy being, is a way to engage a relation with Him to discover Him as He is.

The idea of the self and God as infinitesimal points of energies could be quite logical. Moreover realizing and actualizing the idea is a way to discover Him as He is, and how he is distinct from religions. His personality is not a religion. A religion could be a method to reach Him. But He is not conditioned by any religion.

The idea could be another beginning to make ourlives very peaceful, and powerful life, without tensions, stress, fears, etc. Also beneficial to allow ourselves on the path of constant self development, as the idea is a tool for cleaning the mind from different pollutions of the self.

Joyously experiencing death

It looks to be a strange thing to imagine. But it is sweetly possible, when you switch your awareness from a bodily being to an eternal point of energy source.

When you remain in the consciousness of your self as a soul, an eternal point of light, you experience yourself to be outside the flow of time. The past, present, and future do not work.

It looks to be a strange place to get in. But it is quite addicting, and nourishing to the self. The mind becomes free from the old habits of pain, tensions, fears, frustrations, depressions, etc.

The self gets back to its original awareness, without the distortions caused by associations with the body. The old ideas of the body and its relations to the self cease. When that happens, physical death seems to be a transitory experience with elegance and joy.

There is that freshness, and innocence from the ceasing of the self from its identification with the body.
