Is modern science sinful?
this question arises because, its assumptions or beliefs can be possibly false, in spite of all those great technological or scientific advances.

Form and its designer
We see many forms around. These forms are either man made ones, or those naturally occurring.
Behind a form, we see the intelligence of a designer, who is responsible for it. Well, for man made forms, the designer is visible. And for the natures forms, the designer is invisble. Some resort to believing in God as a designer. That need not be.
A form's designer is a meta-physical element. And that element has some level of consciousness. That makes the designer to be intelligent one. But the intelligence can be different levels, and hierarchical too. God fits in that hierarchy.
Consciousness can be in hierarchy. Then an interesting question arises: Who designs these meta-physical elements and their varying levels of consciousness?
That question can be endlessly repeated.
Or in a simplest way, accept the wonder of creation with one level of meta-physical elements, with their consciousness on a hierarchy. This is what I learn from my Raja Yoga discipline.

Form and its abstraction
The idea of form as a manifestation of an invisible thing/force is also seen in Taoism. This thought The 10,000 forms are an expresion of an invisible force repeats in Lao Tzu's thinking.
We often forget the abstract thing behind a form. Separation of the abstract from the form is one main aspect of Raja Yoga Meditation philosophy. That is the reason they teach that a humanbody is different from the soul that sits in it. In other words, you are a soul, a pont of ennergy, which is different from the body.
Today, we are conscious of our forms, rather physical bodies in which sit and act or play our parts. Our identity is now the physical form. The abstract one, which is a soul, that is responsible for our identity has been killed due to the success of scientific thought, or materialistic thinking. I would say, in the rational tradition.
When we look at a flower, its beautiful form is a manifestation of an invisible force. The abstraction behind it is different from the form. I also wonder about the role of an entity that is responsible for the design of the form. Is this entity separate from the abstraction itself? Yes, I consider that.
Look at the human body. The shape of a nose, and its design is due to some entity. the same entity may be responsible for the entire structure of the body. And the soul is a different force that occupies and rides the body. For me, a soul is a meta-physical force that is responsible for the phenomenon of consciousness, which is responsible for thinking, personality, feelings, memories, cognition, blah, blah.
What I am saying is not really original, though I have not copied their ideas. There are some modern biologists who believe that the functioning of cell is not mainly due to bilogical or chemical processes within it. There is an outside element which guides these processes. This is breaking from the traditional rational thinking, and its tools of reductionist approach to systems engineering.
Today, our cognitive behavior is rooted in the forms. In other words, all vices are to do with the forms. As we have totally forgotten about the relation to the abstract entity, called soul, our awareness is engrossed in the form of the body. The mechanics of the vices are rooted in the form. Our suffering is rooted in the association with the forms. When we once again get back to the recognition of the form as separate thing from the soul, and accept our identity as a soul, an abstraction, we have new behaviours in the absence of viciousness that we face in our sorrows, frustrations, pains, fears, anxieties, etc.
