Unbox the old sanskaras

No doubt there are many positive qualities of the self such as as patience, introvert, deep in thinking, perseverance, etc.

None the less, I do have many weaknesses too. I do have bad habits. I have problems with my communication skills. I dont feel comfortable with myself at times. I have negative tendencies and laziness. I have lust, anger, attachments which can distort the truth. I do have fears and laziness because of which I dont take initiatives.

All those negative aspects of the self make it heavier.

How do I overcome these negative aspects and grow further?

The answer is simple. It is switch in my awareness from body consciousness to soul consciousness. No reasoning or analysis is needed to change to soul consciousness.

Switching of my consciousness to soul consciousness is based on Rajayoga meditation. Here is the technique.

Just visualize yourself to be a tiny point. A tiny point of the size of a small star that you can see in the sky. Just imagine yourself to be a tiny point, billions of miles away from the earth, and standing next to that physical tiny star. Stay in that awareness of you being a tiny star. Use your visualization. Emerge that you are such a tiny point of energy. Emerge also the awareness that the tiny point is eternal. Emerge that awareness that the tiny point is emanating energy in vibrations. Emanating vibrations of peace. Emanating vibrations of love. Emanating vibrations of joy. I am that tiny point. Independent. I am infinitesimal. I am loveful. I am eternal.

I stay in the awareness of being a tiny point. My intense concentration is to be focused in that awareness. As the awareness deepens, I experience a new self. I experience new frontiers.

As I keep practicing this awareness, I will have more appreciation for the new awareness of the self as a tiny point. When such awareness grows stronger and stronger, my confidence grows.

As I stand longer in the awareness, I become aware of the old sanskaras of self awareness. I become aware of that attachment with the old self rooted in sankskaras of body consciousness. I break from the attachment with these sanskaras. I am free. I am free to recreate the self. I am free to reimagine the self in different form. In different new sanskaras. The old sense of the the self dies. I am new one. I am free and light.
